Berry Is The New Red

Red lips will never go out of style, but I think that berry lips are giving red lips a run for their money. Berry lipstick is actually my favorite lipstick shade to wear on my lips because the color complements my skin tone and a berry lip seems to go very with most of my wardrobe. I have picked out a couple of my favorite berry lipsticks that I own to share with you all that range from drugstore to high end.

The Damned by Topshop
This lipstick is a pink berry color with a satin finish on the lips. Don't let the color in the bullet scare you, it's much lighter once applied onto the lips.

Sephora Cream Lip Stain in Blackberry Sorbet
This lip stain is a deep plum color that goes on like a liquid lipstick, but then dries matte. This is one of my favorite berry lip colors and lipstick formulas because it lasts so long on the lips.

Rimmel Lasting Finish Matte by Kate Moss in 107
This lipstick is a red berry color with a satin matte finish. I feel like the 107 lipstick has a cult following in the beauty community and that's because the color is so beautiful and even though it's from the drugstore, this lipstick wears like a high end lipstick.

MAC Lipstick in Plumful
Plumful by MAC Cosmetics is my favorite and probably most worn berry lipstick I own. It's a rosy plum color with a lustre finish. If you want to explore the berry lip trend but aren't into the bold berry colors, then I definitely recommend trying Plumful!

Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick in Plum Velour
Plum Velour by Revlon was actually my first berry toned lipstick I every tried and I still love it all these years later. It's a true berry color with a shine finish and just like the Topshop lipstick, the bullet is much darker then the actual color of the lipstick.

Soap & Glory Sexy Mother Pucker Gloss Stick in Plum Jam
First of all, I just love the clever name of this product. This gloss stick is a sheer berry color that gives you the effect that you've been eating berries and they've stained your lips. It's so easy to apply and basically lives in my purse during the autumn season.

Bite Beauty Matte Créme Lip Crayon in Aubergine
This lip crayon is a pinky red dark berry color that goes on creamy and then dries matte. It has great lasting power and as it fades throughout the day it leaves a deep stain on the lips. The biggest plus is that even though it's a matte formula, this lipstick stays moisturizing throughout the day and doesn't dry out the lips.
