You know those products that everyone seems to love but you have never tried? Well, here are three products that I have just started using over the past few months and now I completely understand what all the hype is about!
Firstly, the NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer in Vanilla. I hate how much I love this concealer because I've always been such an advocate of drugstore concealers, but this concealer just works so well! It covers up my dark circles under my eyes (which genetics has blessed me with), it covers up all of spots, and it lasts so well throughout the day. This concealer never creases, never fades, and the color matches me perfectly. I have nothing bad to say about the NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer and I now understand why it has a cult following.
Next, the Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz in Medium Brown. For the longest time I was only using drugstore brow products because I kept thinking, "They're just my eyebrows... why do I need an expensive product?" Well, I was wrong because then I discovered the Hourglass Arch Brow Sculpting Pencil and fell in love with the ease and longevity of the product. The Anastasia Brow Wiz has been around for so long and gets so much hype in the beauty community that I decided to give it a shot. This product is magic for your eyebrows and is so much better then the Hourglass brow pencil. It is so precise and gives you the effect of luscious full brows without looking like they're drawn on. I totally get the Anastasia Brow Wiz hype now!
Lastly, the Kat Von D Tattoo Liner in Trooper. Like the other two products, I have only ever used drugstore liquid eye liner before. (Can you see the trend?) I just always feel like the liner pen dries out so fast and I don't really use liquid liner as much to justify purchasing a higher end product, but oh my gosh how my opinion has changed. I got a deluxe sample of the Kat Von D Tattoo Liner in Trooper in a Sephora goodie bag and I just totally fell for this product. This liner goes on so well because the brush is really precise and perfect, especially for a winged liner rookie like me. It also dries quickly, remains pigmented, wears well throughout the day, and most importantly it doesn't smudge! When I run out of this deluxe sample, I will most definitely be purchasing the full size.
