They say what feels like the end is often the beginning. Well, a year ago I ended a huge chapter in my life and needed something to fill the void of emptiness in my soul. So after years of contemplation, I started my blog on August 12, 2014, and now here we are one year later! I can't believe a whole year has passed since I started From Alyssa With Love. I still remember the day I decided I was finally going to do it and began the process of making my blog, which I'm not going to lie took a lot longer than expected. I remember the day my sister and I walked around our neighborhood to take the first pictures for the blog like it was yesterday. I was so scared that I was going to be terrible at blogging, people would hate it, or no one would care to read what I had to say. But after a while I realized that's not what this whole experience is about. From Alyssa With Love is my creative outlet to share with the world and as long as I'm happy that's all that matters. Well, after a year I'd have to say I am very happy with my blog and I am so excited to see where it goes in the future!
I would like take a moment to specifically thank a few people that have really helped to make this blog possible. Thank you to my best friend Carly for always believing in me no matter what and looking past all my grammatical errors. Thank you to my friends Kira and Dale for encouraging me to never give up and for being my number one fans. Thank you to my sister Emily for being my photographer and putting up with me in general. Finally, thank you to you the reader for following me along my journey over the past year. You are the reason I love writing From Alyssa With Love so much!
