It's true that January is one of the most depressing months of the year. The holiday season is over and the winter weather just seems to get worse each day. But even through all the depressing days in January, there are still things to look forward to and standout products that became favorites of the month. My first favorite is the
Estée Lauder Double Wear Brush-On Glow BB Highlighter. This product is pure magic! It is the best highlighting concealer I have ever tried. It conceals the dark circles under my eyes and brightens up my face to give it a fresh glow. My next favorite is the new Nivea In-Shower Skin Conditioner. Now before you think that this product is a useless gimmick, let me tell you, it works! There are three different formulas depending on your skin needs. There is sea minerals for normal to dry skin, shea butter for dry skin, and almond oil for very dry skin. I purchased the one for very dry skin and I love it! You just apply the lotion in the shower after you have cleansed your body and then just rinse it off. There is no need to apply body lotion after your shower because this product keeps your skin moisturized all day. If you are a lazy lotion applier or need more moisture to get you through the rest of winter, then I recommend the Nivea In-Shower Skin Conditioner. My last favorite for the month of January is
Netflix's The Killing. I watched the first two seasons in a matter of days. A quick synopsis of the show without giving anything away is that a young girl gets killed and the show follows the two detectives trying to solve the murder, the girl's family, and everyone else who are affected by the murder.
