On October 26, 1985 Marty McFly and Doc went 30 years into the future to October 21, 2015... and here we are! We have officially made it to the future! Back to the Future is one of my favorite movie trilogies and I have been waiting my entire life for this day. It's so funny to think that we've reached "the future" in such an iconic movie. I asked my mom if when the movie came out she thought about the fact that she would be alive in the future year they depicted in the movie and she said no she never really looked at it that way because back then it was just a movie. Well, it's more then a movie now.
In Back to the Future Part III Doc says, "Your future is whatever you make it, so make it a good one." I think that's the best advice anyone has ever given the world. You have an immense amount of control over what you make of yourself, so why not be the greatest self you could ever be. Every day I live too much in the past, forget about the present, and struggle with my future. But then I remember that Back to the Future taught me changing the past doesn't always workout for the future, so the best thing you can do is live in the now and create the future you've always wanted!
