I am a lip product lover, collector, junkie, whatever you want to call it. I am obsessed with lip products and nothing gets me more excited then the changing of the seasons because that means I get to break out different lip products! Today, I have picked out my top ten favorite lip products that I wear during the summer. The picture above is all of the lip products lined up and the picture below has swatches of what the colors look like. I know what you're thinking, they are all pink. Trust me, they're all different and if you don't believe me, let me describe them to you down below.
1. Tanya Burr Lipgloss in Exotic Island
Exotic Island is a vibrant pink with a purple undertone. It's a lipgloss so it has a sheen to it and after it wears for a while it leaves a beautiful stain to the lips.
2. Sephora Cream Lip Stain in African Violet
African Violet is an electric purple pink. This color looks super scary to wear but trust me, it's so pretty on the lips and just screams summer!
3. Sephora Cream Lip Stain in Forever Fuchsia
Forever Fuchsia is a vibrant dark pink. This color looks great on tan skin and has a slight neon effect when on the lips. This color has been discontinued at Sephora but if you can still find it I recommend picking it up!
4. Bite Matte Crème Lip Crayon in Framboise
Framboise is a deep pink. It's not as bright as the other colors and can either be patted on the lips for a sheer stain effect or full on for a more bold statement lip.
5. Bourjois Rouge Edition Velvet in Pink Pong
Pink Pong is a bright pink with a purple undertone. I feel like this color didn't photograph the best so you'll just have to take my word for it on the color because it really is beautiful!
6. Bourjois Rouge Edition Velvet in Olé Flamingo
Olé Flamingo is halfway between a red and a pink. I feel like there are times I wear it and it looks more pink then red and vice versa, but that's what makes this color so unique and fun for summer.
7. Maybelline Color Sensational Creamy Mattes in Mesmerizing Magenta
Mesmerizing Magenta is exactly what the name says, a true magenta. It makes for a beautiful statement lip on a warm summer night!
8. Maybelline Color Whisper in Faint For Fuchsia
Faint For Fuchsia is a bright blue toned pink. Because it's so creamy, the color can easily be sheered out or built up and reapplies beautifully throughout the day.
Pink Flamingo is a muted barbie pink. It's one of those colors that when I don't know which lip product to wear, I just grab this one because it's so timeless and goes with everything.
10. Topshop Lipstick in Brighton Rock
Brighton Rock is a bright pink coral. I have such a hard time wearing coral, but I find that if it is a pink coral instead of an orange coral I can pull it off.
