June Beauty & Lifestyle Favorites

Tuesday, June 30, 2015

It's the end of June which means monthly favorites time! Can you believe we are already halfway through the year? I sure can't believe it. I only have a few standout favorites this month, some makeup, a destination, and a television show. So without further ado, on with my favorites for the month of June!

Disneyland
This year Disneyland is having their diamond celebration for their 60th anniversary. It feels like just yesterday we were celebrating the 50th! For the 60th Disneyland is pulling out all the stops with decorations, merchandise, parades, and fireworks. This is definitely a special time for Disneyland and I had so much fun celebrating this past month, especially wearing my new diamond Minnie Mouse ears!

Chanel Perfection Lumiére Velvet
I broke out my Chanel Perfection Lumière Velvet foundation this month. Mostly because I've become more tan as the month has gone on and my Chanel foundation is the only foundation dark enough to match my skin in the summer. Besides the color, I forgot how much I love this foundation! It has a velvet matte finish to the skin which means I don't have to powder my face as much. This is especially perfect during the summer because the less makeup I have to put on the better. Overall, this will be my go to foundation all summer.

Sephora Cream Lip Stain in African Violet
As you may know, I love the Sephora Cream Lip Stains. They are affordable, go on with one swipe to the lips, smell like cotton candy, and stay on all day. What more could you ask for in a lip product? I am totally loving the color African Violet and cannot stop wearing it! It's an electric pink purple that just screams summer when it's on your lips. Next time you're in Sephora you have to pick this up!

Silicon Valley on HBO
I admit I watch way too much television and need to stop adding shows to my list, but this past month I started watching Silicon Valley on HBO and I'm glad I did! This show follows a group of friends in (you guessed it) Silicon Valley, who are trying to grow their underdog tech business against the major corporations that rule the land. The characters are the best part of the show because they are so uniquely hilarious and keep you rooting for them. Erlich Bachman and his sidekick Jian Yang are my favorites! If you are in need of a new comedy in you life, I highly recommend watching Silicon Valley.
