Eye shadow sticks have been my latest obsession these past few months. They are one of the hottest trends in the beauty world because they are so easy to use! When you're running late, you can just throw it on your lid and be done. I love that it looks as if you spent way more time and effort on your eye shadow then you actually did. I have put together a list of some of my favorite eye shadow sticks that I absolutely love to use.
A few months ago, I picked up a set of the mini Laura Mercier Caviar Stick Eye Colours from Sephora that was apart of their holiday collection. The set came with four colors, Rosegold, Moonlight, Amethyst, and Cocoa. Rosegold is a shimmery champagne rose gold color. Moonlight is a metallic shimmery beige bronze. My favorite of the four is Amethyst, which is a shimmery mauve. Finally, there is Cocoa which is a matte dark brown. What I love most about these eye shadow sticks is that they are creamy, so they blend out easily, but once they dry they don't budge. Once I run out of these minis, I will most definitely be purchasing the full sizes.
The Milani Shadow Eyez were the first cream eye shadow sticks I owned. After using them for a while and trying out many others, I would have to say these are the best eyes shadow sticks at the drugstore. I own two colors, first being Champagne Toast, which is a beige champagne color. The second one I own is Sand Dunes, which is a sandy golden bronze color. If you're looking to try out the eye shadow stick trend, I would recommend starting out with these from Milani.
The NYX Jumbo Eye Pencils are also a great drugstore eye shadow stick option. They make really good bases to layer eye shadows on and come in the most vibrant array of colors. I have Iced Mocha, which is a metallic brown, and Rust, which is a burnt red brown. Rust is my favorite to use in the fall and winter because it adds color to your look without being too bright.
The Charlotte Tilbury Colour Chameleon eye shadow stick in Dark Pearl is my most reached for and most used eye shadow stick at the moment. The color Dark Pearl is a grey brown shimmer. I love that it's creamy and blends out well, but still holds it's pigmentation. Dark Pearl makes a great base color to layer other eye shadows on, but it is also great on its own. I can't wait to try out more of the Charlotte Tilbury Colour Chameleons.
The By Terry Ombre Blackstar in Misty Rock is my all time favorite eye shadow stick. It is simply the best one I own. The color a pigmentation is amazing! Misty Rock is a shimmery mauve taupe color that is beautiful. This is my most luxurious eye shadow stick, so I try not to use it all the time, but if I could I'd wear it every day.
