When going on a trip, whether it be a long vacation or just a weekend trip, it is important to really think about what you pack in your travel makeup bag. I recently week on a weekend trip and decided to share with you all what I chose to bring along with me in my travel makeup bag.
Firstly, I packed a primer. I'm currently loving the Smashbox Pore Minimizing Photo Finish Oil Free Foundation Primer. This primer helps minimize the look of pores and controls oil to elongate the wear of your foundation. For foundation I chose my Perfection Lumiére Velvet by Chanel. This foundation is medium coverage but can be built up to full coverage. A plus to this foundation is that it's a small plastic bottle, so it travels well. I then packed two concealers. One to brighten, the Estée Lauder Double Wear Brush-On Glow BB Highlighter, and one to conceal, the Revlon Colorstay Concealer. For my eyebrows, I'm using the Hourglass Arch Brow Sculpting Pencil. To set my makeup, I've been loving my Bourjois Healthy Balance Powder. Next, to minimize the amount of products I packed my NARS Virtual Domination Cheek Palette, which has three blushes, a highlighter, and a bronzer. This palette is an all in one that is perfect for traveling. For my eyes, I packed my Mini Laura Mercier Caviar Stick Eye Colours because they are small and provide many eye shadow options. I also brought my Too Faced Natural Eyes Palette because it has every eye shadow you need tucked within its compact case. When it comes to lip products, I always seem to over pack, so I tried to keep them to a minimum. For this trip, I packed only one lip liner. I chose the Rimmel Exaggerate Automatic Lip Liner in Eastend Snob because it is the perfect neutral my lips but better color and can work with all the lip products I brought. Then I chose a neutral lipstick, MAC Patisserie, a matte muted pink lipstick, Maybelline Color Sensational Creamy Matte in Lust for Blush, a muted pink lip gloss, Tanya Burr Lip Gloss in Aurora, and lastly a statement red lip color, Sephora Cream Lip Stain in Always Red. Finally, to keep all of my makeup in place I packed my mini Urban Decay All Nighter Makeup Setting Spray.
